Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele’s performances against Chelsea and Arsenal impressed Ray Wilkins.
Former Rangers and Queens Park Rangers midfielder Ray Wilkins said on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, November 28, 2016) that he has been impressed with the performances of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Mousa Dembele so far this season.
Wilkins said that he was impressed with the performance of Dembele for Tottenham against Chelsea at the weekend.
The Belgium international midfielder started the London derby at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening and played for 83 minutes.
Tottenham lost the Premier League game 2-1, but Wilkins has praised Dembele.
The former Chelsea and Manchester United midfielder has also praised the Spurs star for his performance in the North London derby against Arsenal earlier this month.
The 29-year-old former Fulham midfielder started the Premier League game at the Emirates Stadium and played for the entire 90 minutes, as it ended in a 1-1 draw.

“If I am honest, I thought Tottenham were by far the better side in the first half,” said Wilkins on The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on talkSPORT on Monday morning (broadcast from 6am, November 28, 2016).
“Chelsea didn’t seem to get into the game. Dembele in the middle of the field seems to have the better of Kante and Matic.”
“He is having a great season,” added Wilkins about Dembele. “I saw him against Arsenal the other week where I thought he was absolutely outstanding.”
Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 24 points from 13 matches, four points behind fourth-placed and North London rivals Arsenal.
