Newcastle United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to discuss the current situation of Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew.
Pardew has come under pressure at Premier League club Palace this season due to the team’s poor performances and results.
The London outfit are currently 17th in the Premier League table with just 11 points from 13 matches, level on points with third-from-bottom Hull City.
According to The London Evening Standard, Pardew is having talks with chairman Steve Parish regarding his position at Palace.
Pardew was in charge of Newcastle from December 2010 until January 2015 when he left for Palace.
The Englishman was not popular among the St. James’ Park faithful, who did not like his style of football.
Newcastle got relegated from the Premier League to the Championship at the end of last season.
The Magpies are doing quite well in the Championship at the moment, and are firm favourites to win the division and gain automatic promotion back to the top flight of English football.
