According to the Daily Mail, West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has started the search for a new goalkeeper, bringing Adrian's future at the club into question.

The Hammers head into today's game with Manchester United having won just three league games this season, and manager Bilic is still searching for the right formula.

One change the Croatian did make against Tottenham Hotspur last week was to drop goalkeeper Adrian in favour of second-choice stopper Darren Randolph – though Bilic may feel that his decision didn't pay off given that Spurs won 3-2.

It's clear that, after committing a number of mistakes this season, Bilic isn't quite sure about Spaniard Adrian as his first-choice goalkeeper anymore, and reports suggest more changes could be coming in goal.

The Daily Mail report that Bilic wants to bring in a new goalkeeper, with Adrian – who joined the club from Real Betis back in 2013 – now fighting for his future after 116 appearances for the club.

It's suggested that West Ham may find it difficult to land a top goalkeeper in January, but three names are touted as likely targets for the club at the end of the season should they wait that long.

Manchester City's Joe Hart, who is currently out on loan at Serie A side Torino, Chelsea's Asmir Begovic and even Liverpool's Simon Mignolet are described as 'likely' targets for West Ham.

Hart appears to have little future at City having been frozen out by Pep Guardiola, whilst Begovic has found first-team football hard to come by at Chelsea this season, with the Bosnian merely serving as cover for Thibaut Courtois.

Mignolet meanwhile started the season as Liverpool's first-choice goalkeeper, but lost his position to Loris Karius and appears to be something of a misfit under Jurgen Klopp. At 28, Mignolet is a good age for a goalkeeper, and the Belgian will want to play first-team football, meaning a move to West Ham could be appealing to the former Sunderland man.
