The Australian has been in fine form for Aston Villa in recent weeks.

Aston Villa continued their good form in the Championship today, defeating Cardiff City 3-1 at Villa Park.

Steve Bruce’s side won thanks to goals from Albert Adomah, Jonathan Kodjia and Rudy Gestede – with midfielder Jack Grealish putting in an exemplary performance that clearly riled up Cardiff boss Neil Warnock.

But for many an Aston Villa fan the performance of the game came from Mile Jedinak. The Australian international was in superb form, sweeping up across the midfield as Cardiff struggled to break down the home side.

Jedinak looked an inspired signing when he arrived from Crystal Palace in the summer. However, he put in a series of poor performances for Villa after his transfer and many fans at the club were wondering if they might have signed an imposter.

Clearly, for some reason, Roberto Di Matteo could not get the best out of the midfield general.

Bruce on the other hand appears to be getting the best out of the player and will be pleased with his recent performaances.

He won’t be alone. Aston Villa fans, who previously were struggling to take to the player, are now gushing over his performances.

Here is how fans reacted to his display against Cardiff this afternoon…
