During his pre-match press conference, Hammers boss Slaven Bilic spoke of his confidence that, with a little bit of luck, his side can get a result against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, as quoted by the club's official Twitter account.

West Ham currently just sit one point clear of the relegation zone, and are in desperate need of a win, and at the very least a positive performance, after their morale-sapping defeat to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur last weekend.

And Bilic spoke to reporters ahead of his side's trip to Manchester, insisting that the Hammers can pick up a result at Old Trafford, if they cut out the basic errors which have hampered their season thus far, as quoted by the club's official Twitter account:

"I am confident that, if we cut out some of the mistakes we made on Saturday, and with a little bit of luck, we can pick u a result on Sunday."

With West Ham's dire record at the Theatre of Dreams, Hammers fans could be forgiven for heading into Sunday's game with apprehension, rather than anticipation.

Manchester United though, are not in the best of form themselves, despite their 4-0 Europa League victory last night.

If Bilic's men are to have any success on Sunday, they must avoid conceding in the first twenty minutes, keep the home crowd quiet and, in doing so, attempt to take advantage of the low confidence levels present amongst the United players.
