Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has taken to Twitter to send a message to his team-mates and Leeds fans ahead of Saturday's clash with Rotherham United.

Leeds' unbeaten Championship run ended at four games last weekend, as league leaders Newcastle United picked up a 2-0 win at Elland Road to leave Garry Monk's men one point outside the play-offs.

The Whites now head to local rivals Rotherham United for a Yorkshire derby on Saturday evening, and will be looking to get back to winning ways following last weekend's defeat.

However, Monk will have to try and pick up three points without star defender Pontus Jansson, who picked up his fifth booking of the season against Newcastle, and subsequently serves a one-match ban this weekend.

The centre back, currently on loan from Torino, has become an Elland Road hero having been one of Leeds' star player so far this term, forming a superb partnership with Kyle Bartley in the heart of defence.

Leeds boss Monk must do without Swedish international Jansson though, and Liam Cooper looks set to fill in alongside Bartley on Saturday evening.
