Everton are set to be active in the January transfer window.
Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Everton are looking to bring in new players in the January transfer window at his press conference today, which was broadcasted on the club’s official Youtube channel.
Everton have been heavily linked with Manchester United winger Memphis Depay in the build up to the transfer window reopening.
And Koeman once again refused to rule out a move for Depay, while also suggesting that Everton have other players on their radar.
“We are working to get the best players in, and what we need,” the Dutch boss confirmed. “That’s the most important.”
Everton have greater financial muscle following the takeover of Farhad Moshiri, but they were not as active last summer as many predicted.
The Toffees brought in the likes of Idrissa Gueye, Yannick Bolasie and Ashley Williams - but they did not make the high profile signing that many were expecting.
Everton have started reasonably well under Koeman, even if their form has dipped slightly in recent weeks.
The Merseyside club currently sit in seventh place in the Premier League table, with their next match coming against Southampton at the weekend.
