The Spaniard does not want to play Spurs again.
Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat against Monaco in the Champions League this week saw them knocked out of the elite competition. Now they will be hoping to make it into the Europa League as the third-placed team in their group – although they will need to avoid defeat in their game against CSKA Moscow in their final fixture at Wembley if they are to make it.
If they do it will not be an easy run for them in the Europa League. There are some strong teams in the competition, including the Italian side Fiorentina.

Of course, Spurs know all about La Viola. They have played them in their last two Europa League campaigns. Fiorentina take on PAOK Salonika tonight, hoping to secure their place in the next round of the competition as group winners.

“Let's take the qualification, then we avoid Tottenham.
“"I would not want to revisit Tottenham; I would like to go to a new place. But first we have to qualify and win.”
Last season saw Tottenham triumphant against Fiorentina. After a 1-1 draw in Florence they went on to beat the Serie A side 3-0 at White Hart Lane before eventually going out against Borussia Dortmund.

In 2014-15 it was a different story. La Viola defeated Spurs in the round of 32, 3-1 on aggregate.
Best of three? Valero is clearly not keen.
