The 31-year-old is 12 games into his time at the Riverside, and has only found the net once, scoring in the opening day draw with Stoke City.
Since then, Middlesbrough's top striker has been misfiring, but are the Boro faithful growing tired of Negredo? We went to find out.
During his time at Manchester City, Negredo was prolific in front of goal, particularly in the first half of the season, forming an almost unstoppable partnership with Sergio Aguero.
However, things are more difficult now for the Spaniard, who no longer has the likes of David Silva and Samir Nasri to create chances for him. Instead, Negredo is playing in a defensive team where he is used as on outlet to relieve pressure and hold the ball up.

A large portion of the Middlesbrough fans appreciate that, and are not concerned by the lack of goals.
"He's doing his job perfectly, but eventually, he's got the quality and he'll come up with a couple of goals," one fan said.
Spanish international Negredo may be struggling to find the net, but the Middlesbrough supporters are not going to get themselves too worked up, putting faith in their number 10 to turn things around.
