Dallas played alongside the starlet in Leeds’ under-23 win over Huddersfield earlier this week.
Leeds’ Stuart Dallas
Leeds United ace Stuart Dallas has told BBC Radio Leeds that Billy Whitehouse is a player who is definitely on the right path towards a bright future at Elland Road.
The 20-year-old – who joined Leeds from Doncaster Rovers during the summer – was part of the under-23 side that took on Huddersfield’s development team on Monday.
The game saw Whitehouse deployed at full-back, which presented him with the chance to work down the right flank behind Dallas, who was continuing his comeback from injury by playing 68 minutes in the 3-2 win.
And following the game, the Northern Irishman was quick to praise the youngster, and hinted that he may soon be on Garry Monk’s radar, if he is not already.
Billy Whitehouse, during his time with Doncaster
“He’s a cracking player, he’s got a good attitude as well,” he told BBC Radio Leeds.
“He’s a quiet lad and he does everything right. You’ve seen today, he was brilliant at right-back and he’s good going forward. He can defend, he’s strong for the size of him.
“I think he’s got a big future if he keeps working hard and doing things right.”

Though Whitehouse played in defence against the Terriers, it is perhaps as a winger that he stands the best chance of forcing his way into Monk’s team.
Luke Ayling has been fantastic at right-back, while Gaetano Berardi and Lewie Coyle are also ready to step-in if the former Bristol City man is injured, rested or dropped.
Meanwhile, a combination of factors have prevented Monk from being able to consistently select the same wingers each week – including Dallas’ recent injury – so if Whitehouse can continue to impress for the development side, it may not be too long before he is a genuine rival for 25-year-old’s place in the team.
