People News: Citigroup, UBS

UBS sign

Citigroup hired JPMorgan’s Nicole Nunag as a managing director to expand its private-banking unit in the New York City area.

Bloomberg News reports that Nunag will oversee client relationships, product development, marketing and sales to expand in the region, Citigroup said Monday in a statement. She will report to Ida Liu, a managing director and global market manager for the area.

In the meantime, Reuters also reports that Patrick Liu, co-head of UBS's Asia debt financing group, and Paul Au, its co-head of credit market syndicate for Asia ex-Japan, have both left the bank, effective Monday.

Liu was co-head with Deepak Dangayach, after the debt financing group was created in March this year to bring UBS's bonds and loans businesses together, while Au was co-head with Rahul Kotwal.
