West Bromwich Albion fans have, unsurprisingly, been left in a buoyant mood after watching their side cruise to an emphatic 4-0 victory over Burnley on Monday night.

Tony Pulis' men went into the game having won just three times all season. And while one of those victories had come in their most recent outing, the timing of the international break largely prevented them from capitalising on the momentum that came from that win over Leicester.

Nevertheless, the Baggies thrashed Sean Dyche's side at the Hawthorns with most of the damage being done in the first-half.

Matt Phillips - the Albion's hero against the Foxes last time out - opened the scoring after just four minutes before James Morrison and Darren Fletcher ensured that the home side went into the break 3-0 ahead.

Salomon Rondon would add a fourth shortly after the hour mark to confirm that West Brom would jump above their opponents in the table and into ninth, just three points adrift of Everton and Manchester United in seventh and sixth respectively.

Picking out a man of the match from the game would have been a hugely difficult task. But while several of his teammates also received plenty of plaudits, Morrison's display was one of the key talking points amongst West Brom fans who took to Twitter after the game.
