Cristiano Guintoli made it clear that the Guinean midfielder is not for sale.
It was reported earlier this week that Spurs had made a huge offer for midfielder Diawara. Italian newspaper Il Mattino reported the news, as relayed by Calcio News 24, suggesting Tottenham were prepping an offer of 40 million Euros (£34 million) for the teenage midfielder.

But the Napoli supremo has made it clear that Tottenham can forget about signing the Guinean midfielder.
Giuntoli is quoted by CalcioWeb as stating:
"Diawara is not for sale, remains both in January and summer."

There is no surprise that Napoli are taking this stance with the player. They only signed him in the summer from Bologna, investing a portion of the transfer fee they received from Juventus for Gonzalo Higuain.
The Partenopei would be making a big mistake if they sold a top young talent so soon after bringing him to the Stadio San Paolo.

Spurs’ apparent interest was also something of a surprise, considering they are already well-stocked in the holding midfield positions.
It looks increasingly likely that this is a transfer rumour that may struggle to get off the ground for Tottenham.
