Fabregas has struggled to get into the starting XI this season.
Chelsea are prepared to let midfielder Cesc Fabregas leave the club on loan in January, according to a report in The Times.
Fabregas has made just one Premier League start so far this season, with manager Antonio Conte preferring the midfield pair of Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante in central midfield.

The Times also reports that Chelsea are willing to subsidise part of the Spaniard’s £160,000 per week wages in order for a deal to be done and he came close to joining AC Milan in the summer.
He has since made just one league start this season – when he was substituted in the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal – and has overall played just 87 minutes so far this season. He did, however, score two goals in an EFL Cup tie win over Leicester City in September. A recent thigh injury has prevented him from competing for a place in the first-team, which he would find difficult given the excellent form Conte’s side has enjoyed over the past month.
| Position | Team | Mins Played | Appearances | |

If such a deal does materialise it does seem as if Conte is making his mark at the club, perhaps more than he did in the summer transfer window. He has had a look at the players in the squad closely and seems to have a settled XI.
Fabregas is a quality player and had a big role to play in the side that won the title two seasons ago. But when any manager comes to a club, it seems within a year there is a big name that could be shipped out. It looks like the Spaniard could be that man, here.
