West Brom fans react to Tony Pulis’ new contract

West Bromwich Albion announced this morning that Tony Pulis has signed a one-year contract extension.

West Bromwich Albion’s new owners have shown their faith in Tony Pulis by handing him a contract extension through to 2018.

With the Welshman’s deal was set to expire in the summer, Chairman John Williams has cited “assurance and stability” as the reasoning behind the decision.

Pulis joined West Brom in January of 2015, guiding the Baggies to 13th and 14th-place finishes in his first two seasons at the helm. Albion currently sit 13th in the league but Pulis has insisted the club aim to break into the Premier League’s top ten.

Pulis’ style of football has led to tension between the 58-year-old and a section of West Brom supporters. Here is how they responded on Twitter:
