The Arsenal goalkeeper was in fine form in the draw with Middlesbrough.

Former Premier League goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer has hailed Arsenal ‘keeper Petr Cech as the best in the Premier League while speaking on Match of the Day.
The goalkeeper was in fine form for the Gunners on Saturday afternoon in his side’s 0-0 draw with Middlesbrough at the Emirates Stadium.
He made a number of key saves to keep Aitor Karanka’s side at bay and arguably earn his side a point from the game.
It was another imperious display from the 34-year-old, who has proved to be a superb signing for Arsene Wenger since arriving from Chelsea last year.

One man who was impressed was Schwarzer, labeling the Gunners number one as the best in the Premier League.
“For me, Petr Cech is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League and probably has been for the last few years,” he told Match of the Day.
“I’ve had the privilege to work with him, I class him as a good mate and he’s an incredible professional.
“He stands big and he really kept Arsenal in the match which was quite strange considering nobody gave Middlesbrough a chance.”

Cech was certainly busy against Middlesbrough, making four saves in total, which is some going considering that the away side only had four shots on target throughout.
The question of whether he is the best goalkeeper in the Premier League, though, is one that is likely to cause fierce debate.
The Premier League is well stocked when it comes to goalkeepers and the likes of David de Gea, Hugo Lloris and even Thibaut Courtois are all names that people would put among the league’s best.
