Everton scouts were reportedly at the Champions League Group G game between Brugge and FC Porto at the Jan Breydel Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Denswil started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the home team lost 2-1.

“Brugge signed him to a two-year extension this week which has raised his asking price considerably, but it is understood the player is still likely to leave next summer,” states the report in The Daily Star. “He could even become available in January should Brugge go out of Europe.”

Everton are going strong in the Premier League at the moment and are in the running for a top-six finish.

Ronald Koeman’s side are currently sixth in the standings with 15 points from eight matches, four points behind leaders Manchester City.

The Merseyside outfit will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Burnley away from home at Turf Moor in the Premier League.

Everton will head into the match against the Clarets high on confidence and should be able to pick up all three points.
