Walsall winger Kieron Morris has agreed a new deal at the League One club just five months after signing a contract extension, HITC Sport understands from sources close to the club.

Morris has established himself as a key player in the Walsall side and he was rewarded with a two-year contract extension at the end of last season.

The 22-year-old who can play in the middle of midfield or on the wing, played 42 games in 2015-16 campaign as Walsall missed out on promotion in the play-offs.

Morris has been in superb form for Walsall so far this season with the wideman scoring four goals in 14 appearances for the Saddlers.

As a result of the growing interest in Morris' services Walsall have moved to give him a new two-and-a-half year deal to secure the highly-rated midfielder's future.

Morris, who had trials at Manchester United as a youngster, came through the ranks at Walsall and made his first-team debut in 2013 in a League Cup defeat to Stoke.
