Leicester put one foot in the knockout rounds of the competition with a 1-0 win.
Leicester City fans have taken to social media to express their gratitude to Kasper Schmeichel after the goalkeeper made a stunning save in the dying minutes of their game with Copenhagen to preserve their narrow lead.
In the build-up to the game, the Denmark international had had to respond to questions about potentially living in his famous father's shadow (via The Sun). And while he answered the question at the time, his best response came when Andreas Cornelius managed to get a shot away that looked destined for the corner.

Somehow however, Schmeichel managed to change direction as he moved across the line and get a hand on the powerful close-range effort, much to the surprise and relief of everyone in blue inside the King Power Stadium.
The save ensured that Riyad Mahrez's goal five minutes before the break was the difference between the two teams, meaning that Claudio Ranieri's men put one foot in the knockout phase of the Champions League.

Leicester - having won their first three games and keeping three clean sheets along the way - now hold a five-point advantage over their closest rivals in the group, so appear to be well on course to make the last 16.
And while several players earned praise amongst supporters, Schmeichel's save was perhaps the greatest talking point following the game.
