Leeds United winger Kemar Roofe has not impressed since joining from Oxford United.
Kemar Roofe has failed to impress Leeds United’s supporters, after finally being handed a start by Garry Monk.
Roofe’s opportunities at Leeds have been sparing so far, following his move from Oxford United last summer.
The winger has generally featured as a substitute, but he was selected to start ahead of Alex Mowatt against Wigan Athletic yesterday evening.
Roofe failed to take his big chance though, and Leeds fans appear to be concerned over whether the 23-year-old will be able to cut it in the Championship.
Here is the best reaction from Leeds fans on social media website Twitter to Roofe’s display.
Kemar Roofe just doesn't seem to have it for us in the Championship like Nicky Ajose all over again— Darren (@leedsfc9) October 18, 2016
Not saying they are bad playing, but also don't think, Roofe & Antonsson are up to championship standard yet #lufc— Kirsty Stanley (@stanners_1982) October 18, 2016
@PhilHayYEP Roofe? Must have been watching a different game because I thought he was ineffective.— Josh Timlin (@JoshuaTimlin) October 18, 2016
Roofe. Meh.— Matty (@mattylufc_) October 18, 2016
Kemar Roofe is so far out of his depth it's unreal. What a donkey he looked tonight.— LT (@THORNO_) October 18, 2016
Send Grimes back, Loan Roofe out cos he's not ready. Mowatt useless off bench once again....— Ant (@antonyLUFCmay) October 18, 2016
The only way Wigan Athletic could get any worse is if they had Kemar Roofe left mid. Rubbish— LT (@THORNO_) October 18, 2016
Whether Roofe will retain his place in Leeds’ starting line-up for the Yorkshire’s side’s next match remains to be seen.
Leeds take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at the weekend, and they will be under pressure to get back to winning ways after collecting just one point from their last two games.
