George Marsh is yet another brilliant Tottenham teenager worth keeping a close eye on

General view of White Hart Lane

We take a look at another young Tottenham Hotspur midfielder who could be destined for big things.

Earlier this month we published a list of the five most exciting teenage midfielders currently on the books at Tottenham Hotspur, and one omission generated a fair bit of discussion.

That player was George Marsh, a 17-year-old central midfielder who has been garnering praise in the Spurs academy for quite some time.

Such is Marsh’s talent that he was even captured on camera training with the Tottenham first-team last season, while former under-18 coach Kieran McKenna regularly praised the impact of a player able to knit the play together brilliantly.

Marsh still has a long way to go before he is knocking on Mauricio Pochettino’s door and asking for a first-team chance, but those who questioned his omission from our earlier list were right.

While Marcus Edwards and Tashan Oakley-Boothe are creating quite a buzz among Tottenham fans, Marsh belongs in that category as a player who looks destined to be a future star at White Hart Lane.
