Derby maintained their unbeaten start under Steve McClaren, but it was not a game that will live long in the memory.
Derby County Manager Steve McClaren
Derby County supporters have taken to Twitter to discuss their goalless draw with Brentford on Tuesday. And while some fans are remaining positive, many others felt the result was further proof that the team made a glaring mistake during the transfer window.

Following the 1-0 victory over Leeds, Rams fans would have been hoping that the side could build on the momentum following Steve McClaren's return by securing back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
And while they managed to have 14 attempts throughout the game, Derby were only able to put three on target, with none making it past the Bees goalkeeper.

It is an all too familiar story for the Rams this season however. They are now the only side in the Championship to have not reached double figures when it comes to goals scored, and now find themselves just three points clear of the bottom three.
And while some praised the defensive stability on social media - Derby have the best defensive record of any team in the bottom-half by some way - others, justifiably, expressed their frustration at the lacks of goals, especially as they had to watch Chris Martin, who joined Fulham from Derby on a season-long loan this summer, bag the Cottagers' equaliser against Norwich on the same night.

Defensively good, final third lacked decent final ball, movement and decision making! #dcfc— Kieran Aldridge (@AldoAldo88) 18 October 2016
Why do #dcfc practice shooting before the game, then don't hit the target in the 90 minutes??— Phil Marson (@dcfc_phil) 18 October 2016
