Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has taken to Twitter to rave about Newcastle United striker Dwight Gayle.
Dwight Gayle celebrates scoring for Newcastle
The two strikes showed what Gayle can do; the first was a poacher's finish from close range after a scramble in the area, and his second was using his pace to get behind the defence before lofting over goalkeeper Adam Davies.
So far, the 26-year-old is certainly showing just why manager Rafael Benitez was so desperate to land him from Crystal Palace over the summer, as he's now scored 11 goals in 11 games for the Magpies.

Gayle will be relied upon for goals throughout the season as Newcastle chase promotion back to the Premier League, where Gayle will want to play having struggled for first-team football at Palace.
Now one of Gayle's former chairmen has hailed him, as Peterborough United's Darragh MacAnthony has taken to Twitter to praise the diminutive striker.

MacAnthony, who brought Gayle to Peterborough before selling him to Crystal Palace in 2013, spent much of the summer raving about the striker – and one Newcastle fan didn't forget MacAnthony's tweets.
A Magpies supporter noted that MacAnthony was right about Gayle, and the Irishman responded by saying that the striker was a 'bargain' at £10m (Sky Sports) compared to some other strikers who joined Championship clubs over the summer.
Not rocket science. £10 mill bargain compared to some champ strikers who went in same window. Bargain! https://t.co/fMx7QPBkFu— Darragh MacAnthony (@DMAC102) October 18, 2016
Do you think Gayle was good value at £10m?
