Arsene Wenger’s side are currently on a run of six consecutive wins, their latest being a 3-2 victory over Swansea City.
While their football has been at its usual sublime level, a new pressing style, akin to that employed by the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, has also been a major staple.
It has already been picked up on by some pundits, notably Owen Hargreaves, who recently told BT Sport ““I think the biggest difference from last season is that they press the ball a little bit more.”
It is something that is working and Henry says he believes it is the key factor to their current superb run of form.
"They usually have that [winning] run during the season," Henry told Sky Sports.
"But besides the run it's about how they're putting pressure now. There is something happening, especially with Alex Sanchez playing as a nine.”
"Alexis Sanchez does it ever so well for Chile when he plays as a nine and now he does it for Arsenal."
With this current new pressing style working so well, Arsenal fans will be hoping to see more of the same for the rest of the season.
The Gunners are currently second in the table, level with leaders Manchester City on points but behind on goal difference.
The Gunners' title credentials will be truly tested next month when they take on Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain in quick succession in the league and Europe respectively.
