Everton boss Ronald Koeman has raved about the club's following away from home, as quoted by the club's official Twitter account.

The Toffees picked up a 1-1 draw away at league leaders Manchester City on Saturday afternoon, in an action-packed encounter that saw Everton goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg save not one but two penalty kicks.

Everton fans also got to see Romelu Lukaku score a superb solo goal, running at the City defence before brushing off Gael Clichy and firing past Claudio Bravo with aplomb.

Roared on by a superb following from Merseyside, Everton turned in a strong and resilient performance, one which showed the huge improvement made since Roberto Martinez's departure earlier this year.
