The Arsenal youngster had a chance to impress in training with the senior side this week.
Arsenal youngster Gedion Zelalem has been photographed training with the first-team ahead of their Champions League clash with Ludogorets Razgrad later this week.
The 19-year-old is currently back playing with the Gunners’ under-23 side following a loan spell at Rangers last season, although he did get a brief cameo for the senior side in the EFL Cup match against Nottingham Forest last month.
That took his tally to three first-team appearances for Arsenal and while he will have to be patient to make it four, he will have taken pleasure in training with a set of players who are enjoying a superb run of form so far this season.
Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League, level on points with leaders Manchester City but below them on goal-difference.
They are also flying in Europe and will be hoping to maintain their good start against Ludogorets later this week.
Zelalem is highly rated at the Emirates Stadium and it will be interesting to see how his career develops in the years ahead, especially after his eight assists in 28 appearances for Rangers last season.
As well as Zelalem, 18-year-old Jeff Reine-Adelaide was snapped in training, and the 18-year-old will be looking to get back on the bench as he was against FC Basel earlier this season.
