Leeds United are set to take on Wigan Athletic later this evening.

Garry Monk has told BBC Radio Leeds that he does not want to make wholesale changes to Leeds United’s team, ahead of their match against Wigan Athletic.

Leeds have been in fine form recently, but they were beaten by Derby County in their latest outing.

The Whites fell to a 1-0 defeat at the iPro Stadium, but Monk has suggested that he will stick by his players.

“No, I think the way we have been working has been really good,” Monk said, when asked whether he would make changes to Leeds’ line-up.

“I think what’s important is what we’ve been doing. All those positives way outweigh the negatives. We’ve been very competitive.”

Leeds were slightly unfortunate against Derby, as they put Steve McClaren’s side on the back foot fairly regularly.

The Yorkshire side almost grabbed an equaliser when Marcus Antonsson took aim from range, but his shot hit the post.

Leeds have slipped down to 13th place after their loss against Derby, but a win against Wigan tonight would help get them back on track.

Leeds have won their last four home matches, and they will be looking to extend that record this evening.

If Leeds can pick up the victory, they could move up into eighth place in the Championship table.
