Erik Sviatchenko has broken into Celtic's starting line-up under Brendan Rodgers.
Celtic defender Erik Sviatchenko believes that he is playing better than ever before this season.
Sviatchenko joined Celtic from FC Midtjylland last January, and he has made a positive impression during his first year with the Bhoys.
The central defender impressed during his first half season at Celtic, but he has kicked on even further under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers.
Sviatchenko’s style is perfectly suited for Rodgers, as he is comfortable in possession, and the Danish international admits that he is playing very well at the moment.
Sviatchenko has made 12 appearances for Celtic in all competitions so far this season, and appears to have broken into the Glasgow side’s starting line-up.
The combative defender has formed a good partnership with Jozo Simunovic at the heart of Celtic’s defence.
Sviatchenko looks likely to start in Celtic’s next match, which comes against Borussia Monchengladbach in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
