Wales' Gareth Bale in action with Belgium's Jordan Lukaku
Davies has endured an up-and-down campaign for club and country so far, and transfer rumours have recently started to surround the 23-year-old defender.
The Sun reported last month that London rivals Chelsea are lining up a £20m for Davies, who joined Spurs from Swansea City back in the summer of 2014 as Mauricio Pochettino's first signing.

Now, The Sun claim that Spurs are lining up left backs in case Davies is sold, with some 'doubts about his suitablity' as Rose's backup, prompting interest in Lazio's Jordan Lukaku.
Left back Lukaku – the younger brother of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku – left Oostende in his native Belgium for Lazio over the summer, and his impressive displays for the Italian side appear to be triggering interest.

The 22-year-old – who featured for Belgium at Euro 2016 alongside Tottenham stars Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele – is a pacey, attack-minded left back who could offer some similar qualities to England ace Rose.
It's claimed that Lazio could demand around £10m for Lukaku, and could be long-term competition for Rose at White Hart Lane if Tottenham do choose to sell Welsh international Davies.
