Newcastle United overcame Brentford 3-1 this weekend.
Newcastle United secured a 3-1 victory at home to Brentford on Saturday courtesy of two goals from striker Dwight Gayle and one from defender Ciaran Clark.
Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez continues to rotate his squad but loan signing Christian Atsu got another run-out on Saturday after scoring what proved to be the winning goal against Rotherham United before the international break.
The 24-year-old could not score this time round yet he still put in a good performance, prompting some Newcastle fans to hope his temporary deal is ultimately made permanent.
After the match we took to Twitter to see what Newcastle fans thought of Atsu’s latest performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
Really like Atsu. Very direct and positive. Just needs to add finesse to his game. Final ball can be erratic. Exciting prospect tho. #NUFC— NUFC Polls (@ToonPolls) October 15, 2016
