According to Calcio Mercato, Tottenham are keeping tabs on Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi ahead of the January transfer window.
Spurs have made a great start to the season, having won five and drawn two of their first seven Premier League games, including the 2-0 win over league leaders Manchester City last weekend.

The summer additions of Victor Wanyama, Georges-Kevin Nkoudou, Moussa Sissoko and Vincent Janssen have added real depth to the Spurs side, but Mauricio Pochettino may still want another attacking option.
In fact, Calcio Mercato report that Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi is being monitored by Spurs, as well as Inter Milan and Juventus.

Berardi, 22, was in the ranks at Cosezna before signing for Sassuolo in 2010, and he has established himself as one of the top young players in Italian football during his time with the Serie A side.
Berardi had hit 38 goals and 22 assists in the three seasons prior to this term, and has already notched notched two goals in two league games in Serie A this season too, taking his tally to 40 goals and 24 assists since the start of the 2013/14 season.
A skilful, left-footed attacker who can play out wide or behind a striker, Berardi is a regular for Italy’s Under-21 side, and as one of the top young players in the world, it’s no great surprise to see Spurs take a look at him.

However, Pochettino does now have two wingers arguably playing their best football for Spurs in Erik Lamela and Heung-min Son, whilst Christian Eriksen is playing on the left, Moussa Sissoko has featured on the right, and Georges-Kevin Nkoudou also offers some pace out wide.
Tottenham don’t necessarily need to bring in Berardi, but he would certainly add even more depth to the Spurs side, and another attacker who can both create and score goals, meaning it may be worth seeing just how much Sassuolo would want for their prized asset.
