Everton have started the season brightly under new manager Ronald Koeman.

Everton’s Kevin Mirallas believes the club can challenge for a top three finish this season, providing Romelu Lukaku continues to provide the goals, speaking to HLN Sport in Belgium.
Going into the international break, Ronald Koeman’s side sit in fifth place in the Premier League with just one loss to their name this season, and Belgian attacker Mirallas thinks they could do something special this term.
“We have a team that can compete for the top three,” Mirallas told HLN Sport.
“Certainly, if Lukaku keeps on scoring.”
Everton’s form has coincided with the form of Lukaku, who has five goals so far this season, including a hat trick against Sunderland, which kicked off his goal scoring exploits for the season.
While it may be ambitious for the Toffees to finish in the top three with so many top teams competing in the Premier League this season, there is no reason that Koeman’s side cannot feature at the right end of the table come May.

With the signing of Ashley Williams, they have one of the best central defenders in the league, and at the other end of the pitch they have one of the best strikers in Lukaku.
It may not be as remarkable as Leicester’s achievements last season, but Everton will certainly be turning some heads if they are competing for a Champions League place at the end of the season, especially with the calibre of teams who are vying for the Premier League title.
