HITC Sport understands Spaniard is in line for new deal at Etihad Stadium

Manchester City are ready to hand a new contract to midfield maestro David Silva, sources have told HITC Sport.
Pep Guardiola sees Silva as an essential part to his City revolution and he has started every Premier League game under the Spansih tactician so far.
The 30-year-old has been deployed more in the middle and deeper, which has seen him see more of the ball and becoming more of a fulcrum of their play – similar to a Xavi or Andres Iniesta, and Silva is loving his new role which he believes gives him more importance to the team.

Spanish star Silva, who has more than 100 caps for his country, arrived at City in 2010 and has become a firm fans favourite helping them win the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup during his five seasons at The Etihad.
His last deal was signed in 2014, but now he is set to be rewarded with new terms, which could see him end his career with the club.
“David is so happy at City, there will be no issues with this deal – if and when it is offered,” the source said.
