Tottenham Hotspur signed Moussa Sissoko from Newcastle United during the summer transfer window.

Tim Sherwood has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 19th September, that Tottenham Hotspur have signed a world-beater by bringing Moussa Sissoko to White Hart Lane.
Tottenham spent big to ensure that Sissoko joined them from Newcastle United during the previous transfer window.
The French international has made three appearances for Spurs to date, and Sherwood feels that he will be a valuable addition.

“He can be a world beater on his day,” Sherwood said. “I think his best position is as a number eight, rather than wide. He is certainly one who can run beyond Kane.
“Kane needs runners behind him, and he gets that from Alli. I think Sissoko can do the same.”
Sissoko was highly inconsistent during his time with Newcastle, and could only contribute one goal and seven assists as the Magpies were relegated last term.

However, the powerful midfielder was one of France’s stars at Euro 2016 – and was arguably man of the match in the final of the international tournament.
Spurs obviously feel he is a player who can enhance the quality of their attacking play, as they aim to compete in both the Premier League and the Champions League this season.
Sissoko’s next chance to impress for Spurs could come on Wednesday evening, when Mauricio Pochettino’s side take on Gillingham in the League Cup.
