Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie has suggested he would like to move to Manchester United in the future once he has developed his game in Italy’s Serie A, GianlucaDiMarzio report.

The Ivory Coast international is regarded as one of the best prospects in Serie A right now, scoring four goals in his opening three matches despite being predominantly a central midfielder.

A recent report in Talksport suggested a summer move to Sunderland was near, though the failed bid has not dampened the player’s hopes of one day moving to the Premier League.

Speaking to Italian publication GianlucaDiMarzio, the 19-year-old admits he is very fond of Manchester United and suggested he would like to move to Old Trafford in the future.

“Future? I like the league in England, but first I must learn the Italian tactics to one day hopefully land at Manchester United. Who knows if it'll still be Mourinho's team, but I've always been fond of that club,” he explained.

United have entered the Italian market in recent seasons, adding Matteo Darmian from Torino in the summer of 2015 before smashing their transfer record with the addition of Paul Pogba this past transfer window.

Kessie has a big future in the game, and should he continue with his current development at Atalanta it will not be too long before one of Europe’s big clubs comes in for him.

The talented midfielder has averaged two interceptions, two successful take-ons and 2.7 shots per Serie A match this season (Whoscored).
