Celtic are due to take on Borussia Monchengladbach in their third Champions League match.
Celtic were heavily beaten in their first Champions League match of the season against Barcelona.
However, Dickov feels that the Bhoys can beat Gladbach and put themselves into a good position to claim third spot in the group.
“Definitely at Parkhead,” Dickov said, when asked whether he felt Celtic could defeat Gladbach. “If Monchengladbach go there and set up as open as they did last night, I think Celtic can get something. I really do.”
Celtic need to finish in third place in the group, if they are to make it into the next stage of the Europa League.
The Bhoys have a match against Manchester City first up, before they take on Gladbach at Parkhead.
It is widely expected that City and Barcelona will be the two teams which qualify from Celtic’s group, leaving Gladbach and Brendan Rodgers’ side to fight it out for third spot.
Gladbach got their Champions League campaign off to a poor start - losing 4-0 to Manchester City yesterday evening.
