Moussa Dembele, who is 20 years of age, was the star of the show in the Old Firm derby on Saturday afternoon.
The France Under-20 international forward scored a hat-trick, as Celtic hammered Rangers 5-1 at Celtic Park.
The former Fulham youngster scored in the 33rd, 42nd and the 83rd minute of the Scottish Premiership match.
Ousmane Dembele, who is also French, has taken to Twitter to send a message to the Celtic forward.
The 19-year-old Dortmund forward’s message, which when translated from French, reads: “Strength to you”.
Murdo MacLeod has also praised Moussa Dembele for his performance for Celtic against Rangers at Celtic Park on Saturday afternoon.
The former Celtic and Dortmund midfielder believes that scoring a hat-trick in the Old Firm derby will give the youngster more confidence.
"Now he's scored a hat-trick in an Old Firm match - that puts him way up there, people will be talking about it all the time and that will give him great confidence,” MacLeod told Sky Sports.
"I think he is a strong player, a quick player, good technique, he can score goals and he can handle pressure.
“He is a striker who possibly thought on Friday that he wasn't going to be playing in the game; with Leigh Griffiths being injured he gets his chance and what a chance he's taken."
Celtic will return to action on Tuesday evening when they take on Spanish giants Barcelona away from home at Camp Nou in Champions League Group C.
