England’s Adam Lallana celebrates scoring their first goal with team mates
Glenn Hoddle has told BT Sport that Adam Lallana is going to be ‘one hell of a player’ if he can add goals to his game.
Goalscoring has been the major thing lacking from his game over the years, with just 15 goals in 94 goals in all competitions for the Reds since he joined them.
The midfielder enjoyed himself on international duty last week, though, scoring England’s late winner in the victory over Slovakia.
He continued his goalscoring form in the Premier League on Saturday as he hit a superb strike in Liverpool’s 4-1 win over champions Leicester City.

That was his second goal in the league this season and Hoddle says he will become a hell of a player if he can add goals to his game.
“He’s scored for England, and he’s now scored for Liverpool,” he told BT Sport.
“If he can add goalscoring to all of his creative play and all of the good things he does, he’s going to be a hell of a player.”

It will certainly be interesting to see if Lallana can be a regular goalscorer for Liverpool this season.
This team certainly looks like one that will create numerous opportunities for their forward players, having already managed eight goals in their four games so far.
He should be looking to take advantage of that and if he can, those lingering doubts about him will be quickly dispelled.
