Leeds United defender Pontus Jansson has taken to social networking site Twitter to express his excitement at the prospect of playing against Huddersfield Town this weekend.
Garry Monk’s side will take on Huddersfield at Elland Road in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.
Jansson, who joined Leeds on a season-long loan deal from Italian club Torino in the summer transfer window, is looking forward to the game.
The Sweden international centre-back has posted the following message on Twitter following his return from international duty:
Fantastic week with the national team. Now back to England and full focus on Saturday game..— Pontus Jansson (@PJansson5) September 7, 2016
Jansson has also revealed that he has a clause in his contract at Leeds.
The 25-year-old former Malmo defender has disclosed that if he plays 20 games for the West Yorkshire outfit this season, then the Championship club will have to sign him on a permanent contract.
“I look forward to playing for Leeds and if I don’t play 20 games, I return to Italy and we’ll take it from there.”
Leeds are one of the biggest clubs of England, but they have not featured in the Premier League since 2004. The Whites are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
Monk’s side have made a disappointing start to the season, and they have to pick up all three points against Huddersfield on Saturday afternoon.
