Yohan Cabaye will reportedly not be ruled out for a lengthy period following his groin injury.

According to reports from L’Equipe, the groin injury suffered by Crystal Palace star Yohan Cabaye is not a serious one.
Cabaye was part for the French national team which reached the final of the European Championships in July and due to his long summer; the midfielder was understandably slowly integrated back into the starting lineup for Crystal Palace by manager Alan Pardew.

Cabaye made his first 90-minute appearance of the Premier League season during the 1-1 draw against Bournemouth last week, but as a cause of real worry for the Eagles’ faithful it had been revealed that the 30-year-old suffered a groin injury during the recovery session after the game.
The setback meant that Cabaye had to be withdrawn from the France squad for the ongoing international round of fixtures and Palace fans have been left concerned regarding the extent of the injury suffered by their star man.

Much to their relief though, L’Equipe have now revealed that Cabaye’s injury is not too serious and that the former Newcastle United man is not expected to be on the sidelines for ‘too long’.
Palace will be facing Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium upon the completion of the international break and the Eagles will surely be hoping that Cabaye will be fit in time to feature during the encounter.
