Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to Lee Erwin’s performance for Oldham Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

Erwin featured for Oldham in the League One game against Shrewsbury Town at the SportsDirect.com Park.

The former Scotland Under-19 international forward, who joined Oldham from Championship club Leeds on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window, started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes.

The 21-year-old failed to guide Steve Robinson’s side to victory, but he did score in the 82nd minute of the encounter.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at the SportsDirect.com Park, hosts Oldham had 55% of the possession, took 14 shots of which five were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Shrewsbury, who won the match 3-2, had 45% of the possession, took 10 shots of which nine were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
