Leeds United had a busy transfer window, and ended it by signing midfielder Eunan O’Kane from Bournemouth.

The Whites did not add a striker on deadline day as many fans wanted, with Chris Wood and Marcus Antonsson having an inconsistent start to the season.

Leeds can still sign free agents, and here is a look at three strikers they could still add…

The Nigerian is 35, and won’t want to hang about too much longer. He was released by Stoke City in the summer and had a loan spell at Bristol City last season, scoring twice in seven appearances.

His career may be winding down but he has experience and could be a threat on a short-term deal.

Marouane Chamakh

Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh was the first player to score in six consecutive Champions League games, and is best known for his spell at Arsenal.

The 32-year-old was released by Crystal Palace in the summer, and where his experience leading the line was useful over the past three seasons.

Chamakh is familiar with English football and would benefit from dropping down a division, where he may find goals come easier.

Victor Anichebe

Victor Anichebe, 28, is the youngest of the trio, and is a free agent after being released by West Bromwich Albion.

He signed for the Baggies in 2013 for £6 million from Everton, and needs to rejuvenate his career after a disappointing spell at the Hawthorns.

Anichebe is a Nigerian international with a physical presence who could relish playing in the Championship. On a free transfer he would still be a gamble, but one which could pay off.
