Crystal Palace have reportedly placed a bid of around £12.7million for Lucas Lima.

According to reports from Tutto Mercato, Premier League club Crystal Palace have submitted an offer of around £12.7million for Brazilian attacking midfielder Lucas Lima.
Palace have shown a lot of ambition in the transfer market this summer but following their poor start to the season, manager Alan Pardew has recently revealed (RTE) that he still intends to add a few more players to the ranks at Selhurst Park before the end of the summer transfer window.

One of the players who has been touted to join Palace is Santos star Lucas Lima after Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte claimed that the Eagles had expressed an interest in signing the 26-year-old by launching an enquiry regarding the player’s availability recently.
In an update to the speculation, Tutto Mercato have gone on to reveal that Palace have indeed placed a concrete bid of around £12.7 million (£4.2 million for a season long loan with a £8.5 million permanent option at the end of the season) for the Brazilian international.

However, the report adds that Santos are currently holding out for a fee closer to around £17 million and that Palace could eventually agree to meet the demands of the Brasileiro club in the coming days.
Lima is an extremely talented attacker who is a regular for the Brazilian national team at the moment and he could well prove to be a very astute signing for the Eagles.
