Newcastle United begin their EFL Cup campaign this evening against League Two side Cheltenham Town.
After two disappointing performances which saw them lose to Fulham and Huddersfield, Newcastle have bounced back, recording wins over Reading and Bristol City.
They will be keen to keep their momentum going, and avoid a disappointing loss this evening.
Here is a look at how Newcastle United line up this evening...
Newcastle United (4-2-3-1): Karl Darlow; Jamie Sterry, Jamaal Lascelles, Grant Hanley, Jesus Gamez; Jonjo Shelvey, Jack Colback; Rolando Aarons, Mohamed Diame, Ayoze Perez; Aleksandar Mitrovic
Substitutes: Matz Sels, Paul Dummett, Chancel Mbemba, Vurnon Anita, Isaac Hayden, Yoan Gouffran, Dwight Gayle
A League Cup win has eluded Benitez during his spells in management in England with Liverpool and Chelsea, and while dreams of lifting the trophy may be a way off at present, Newcastle will want to go as far as possible.
Last season they exited at an early stage to Sheffield Wednesday, and will hope the team selected this evening is strong enough to take them into the third round.
