A deal has reportedly been agreed to bring goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to the Etihad. How have Man City fans taken the news?

According to The Telegraph, a fee of £17 million has been agreed between Man City and Barcelona to bring Chilean goalkeeper Claudio Bravo, 33, to the Etihad Stadium as part of the Pep revolution at City.

This move would have big implications for English ‘keeper Joe Hart, who has been dropped from the City line-up at the start of this season and, who may not quite be the style of goalkeeper that Guardiola is looking for. It appears that the manager is looking for more of a sweeper ‘keeper to fit into his system.

The unceremonious demotion of Hart has prompted differing reactions among City fans, some seem to sympathise with the English stopper who had a disappointing Euro 2016, others seem to think that new manager Guardiola knows what is best for the City team and that they should bring in Bravo as their number one.

Here are some examples of reactions on Twitter from City fans to the news that Bravo is likely to join from Barca.

What do you reckon, Liverpool fans?
