Everton manager Ronald Koeman has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s victory over West Bromwich Albion on Saturday afternoon.

The Toffees got the better of West Brom 2-1 away from home at The Hawthorns in the Premier League.

Gareth McAuley headed in a Craig Gardner corner at the far post to put the Baggies in the lead after just nine minutes.

Everton restored parity in first-half injury time through Kevin Mirallas, and Gareth Barry made it 2-1 to the Toffees on the hour mark.

Koeman has taken to Twitter to express his delight at the Merseyside outfit’s win against West Brom.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at The Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon, hosts West Brom had just 34% of the possession, took 11 shots of which only four were on target, and earned seven corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Everton had 66% of the possession, took 13 shots of which seven were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.

Everton will take on Yeovil Town at Goodison Park in the second round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening.
