Leeds United kick-started their Championship season at long last.
The two strikers netted second-half goals as Leeds beat their Yorkshire rivals to pick up their first Championship win at the fourth time of asking this season.
"Both had outstanding games and both richly deserved goals. It's no coincidence that the harder you work the luckier you get," he told TV Yorkshire.
"Them two worked really hard today. It's important your strikers are scoring, and both looked really dangerous today."
There have been promising signs of life in Leeds since their 3-0 defeat at QPR on the opening weekend but this seems to be an unmistakable indication of progress.
With the Owls being playoff finalists a few months back, this was Garry Monk's biggest test in his young Leeds career but the Whites came through it with flying colours.
Antonsson and Wood will get the headlines but Liam Bridcutt was arguably the star of the show in what was the 27-year-old's second debut for United, having re-signed on a permanent basis on Tuesday.
Another of their signings this week, Pontus Jansson, missed out, but the big centre-back might fancy the midweek League Cup clash with Luton Town for his debut.
