The Crystal Palace manager has won just two of his last 23 league matches.

Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur also means the Eagles have started the new season in the worst possible fashion with two defeats from two and no goals scored. And fans now feel Pardew's time is up.

While 2016 hasn't been all doom and gloom for the South London club as they reached the 2016 FA Cup final at Wembley where they ultimately lost out to Manchester United in extra-time.
But despite their cup run and the recruitment of record signing Christian Benteke from Liverpool, Palace fans appear to have lost patience with their manager.
The situation is not dissimilar to what Newcastle fans had to endure under Pardew, who became an unpopular figure on Tyneside following 15 losses from 18 games at the end of the 2013/14 season.

A poor start to the next campaign as well as four consecutive losses to fierce rivals Sunderland did Pardew no favours either as he ended up leaving for Selhurst Park at the end of 2014.
The 55-year-old did enjoy positive starts at both clubs, leading Newcastle to a fifth placed finish in 2011/12 and at Palace he became the only manager to take over a Premier League club in the relegation zone and lead them to a top 10 finish after a strong end to the 2014/15 season.

But the so called 'honeymoon period' soon came to an end as the points began to dry up and the fans began to grow frustrated with Pardew's one-dimensional tactical approach and repetitive excuses.
And it seems Palace fans are having to endure almost exactly what Newcastle fans had warned them about 18-months ago.
Here is what they had to say:
Liverpool get their money back on Benteke. I defended Pardew but he's 2016 shows that Newcastle fans were right about him unfortunately— keith mason (@Keith_MUFC17) August 18, 2016

It's taken me a little over 18 months to come to this conclusion but I'm now convinced...— HLTCO (@HLTCO) August 16, 2016
The Geordies were right all along.
Meanwhile Newcastle fans are still happy to criticise their former manager:

Should Pardew be sacked as Crystal Palace manager?
