The duo have shown signs of becoming a real force for Spurs.
Tottenham's Harry Kane applauds fans after the game
Harry Kane has talked up his partnership with summer signing Vincent Janssen following their first start together earlier today.
The England international was deployed in the number 10 role behind Janssen, as Tottenham earned a hard-fought win over Crystal Palace, and they once again showed signs of a blossoming relationship.

Responding to a question by a Spurs fan on the club's official Twitter account, Kane said:
"I thought we played very well together today. We created a lot of chances and on another day we both could have scored a couple of goals.
"It is an exciting partnership and I'm sure you'll see more of it this season and we're looking forward to it."
The two first combined to great effect in the pre-season friendly against Inter and Janssen changed the game when he was introduced against Everton last week.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Mauricio Pochettino opted to start both of his strikers today, at the expense of Dele Alli, and they were each unlucky not to be rewarded with a goal.
Janssen, in particular, was guilty of missing a glaring chance when he skewed his shot after being put through one-on-one against Wayne Hennessey, but he has shown enough promise to suggest Spurs have made a shrewd acquisition.

His work-rate is exceptional and he seems a perfect fit for Pochettino’s system. The only potential issue is whether dropping Kane back to accommodate the Dutchman will reduce the goal threat of last season’s Premier League top scorer.
Kane has all the attributes to thrive in a deeper role however, and if he was more clinical against the Eagles, he would be off the mark already this season.
