Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino
Kane and Janssen started for Tottenham against Palace at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs won the Premier League game 1-0, thanks to Victor Wanyama’s goal in the 82nd minute.
Tottenham's Harry Kane
Pochettino has said that he was pleased with the combination of his two main strikers.
The Tottenham manager has also observed that England international Kane, who is 23 years of age, was more free against Palace due to the presence of Janssen.
"I remember when I arrived here, I wanted Harry to play with another striker," Pochettino told talkSPORT.
"You could see Harry was more free. He had a lot of chances to score, to shoot - a lot more than at Everton [last weekend's 1-1 draw]. I think it was a very good combination."
Tottenham's Vincent Janssen
Against Palace at White Hart Lane on Saturday afternoon, Kane took six shots and created one chance.
Janssen, who joined Tottenham from AZ Alkmaar in the summer transfer window, took four shots and created two chances.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, hosts Tottenham had 57% of the possession, took 20 shots of which just five were on target, and earned 10 corners, according to BBC Sport.
Spurs will return to action next weekend when they take on Liverpool at White Hart Lane in the Premier League.
